Budget, goals, projects and investments in one connected system.

Horyzont Finansowy goes beyond expense logging. It connects everyday spending control with goals, larger projects, liabilities, investment portfolios and shared organisation.

  • expense, budget and cashflow monitoring
  • goals and projects tied to real funding sources
  • one place for personal finance, investing and security

Full access in Demo (21 days). No commitment.

How modules work together

This is the core of the product. Data from one area affects the next, so spending control becomes planning and decisions.

1

Personal finance structures everyday reality

Transactions, budgets, categories, accounts and liabilities show what really happens month by month. Financial analysis and thresholds reveal early warning signs.

2

Goals take data from accounts or portfolios

A goal is not a standalone note. It can be linked to a selected account or portfolio, so progress updates automatically.

3

Projects organise larger initiatives

A project groups items, tasks, deadlines and funding sources. Great for renovations, travel and other high-cost topics.

4

Investments and balance complete the picture

Portfolios, dividends, cash, bonds and account status show how daily decisions affect assets and long-term plans.

Integration examples

  • transaction → budget/category/account
  • transaction → goal/project
  • account balance → goal progress
  • loan/overpayment → liabilities and cashflow
  • portfolio/dividends → savings/retirement
  • alerts (low balance/large transaction/runway) → risk analysis

Monitoring expenses, goals and projects without blind spots

Monitoring does not stop at a transaction list. Each area answers a different decision question.

Expenses and budget

Plan vs actual, category, account, transaction type, purpose and description plus liabilities and analysis.

Financial goals

Priority, deadline, target amount, source and completion percentage.

Projects

Project budget, spend, status, dates and tasks to prevent large one-off topics from spilling into everything else.

Alerts and analysis

Thresholds for low balance, large transactions and runway help catch problems early.

Key modules

The main areas are arranged to support both daily control and longer-term planning.

Personal finance

Monthly summary, transactions, budget, accounts, categories, liabilities and financial analysis. Loans with overpayment simulation — see impact on payoff time and total interest (pay down faster or invest).

Assets

Register of assets (property, vehicles, other) with estimated value and linked loan. System calculates net value (asset minus debt) and shows transactions assigned to the asset (renovation, insurance, maintenance).

Security is not an add-on. It shapes the whole system.

Security covers login, permissions, accountability, data export, privacy management and module access architecture.

Privacy by design

Data minimisation, clear processing purposes, transparent policies.

Secure login

Hashed passwords, session protection, sound application architecture practices.

Encryption in transit

Communication with the service is encrypted (TLS) to protect data in transit.

Backups and business continuity

Backups, recovery procedures, error monitoring.

Encryption of sensitive data at rest

Sensitive data is encrypted before being stored in the database — it remains unreadable even if access is gained without authorisation.

Mandatory OTP (2FA)

Account access requires a one-time OTP code (e.g. authenticator app). This significantly reduces the risk of account takeover.

OVH hosting in the Polish region

The service runs on OVH infrastructure (Europe’s largest cloud provider) in the Polish region — low latency and predictable security standards.

Audit log and trusted devices

Organisation owner has access to the event log (who, when, what). “Trust this device” option allows skipping 2FA code for 30 days on the same device.

FAQ

Is it for people without experience in advanced financial management?

Yes. We design the system to be useful and clear also for people without experience in advanced financial management. Complex module integration is implemented on the application side, and the user gets simplified views, automation and wizards that support more advanced features — including investment portfolios and projects.

Can I use it jointly (family/partners)?

Yes, but shared use (couple/family) is available in the Premium package. The organisation owner can invite others and assign roles: Edit – user can view and modify organisation data (e.g. portfolios, transactions, personal finance); Read-only – user can only view data, with no ability to make changes.

Can I control loans and overpayments?

Yes. The "Liabilities" feature covers loans — mortgage, personal and others — detailed schedule of principal and interest payments and overpayments. It includes overpayment simulation, so you can better assess the impact of decisions on future instalments and interest. Mortgage repayment can be linked to a property in the "Assets" module for better cost-of-ownership analysis.

Does the system support investing?

Yes. It includes portfolios, transactions, dividends, cash, bonds and features useful for IKE and IKZE.

Is the system GDPR compliant?

Yes. The system supports core rights under the GDPR Regulation: <a href="https://sip.lex.pl/akty-prawne/dzienniki-UE/rozporzadzenie-2016-679-w-sprawie-ochrony-osob-fizycznych-w-zwiazku-z-68636690/art-15" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Art. 15 GDPR (Right of access)</a>, <a href="https://sip.lex.pl/akty-prawne/dzienniki-UE/rozporzadzenie-2016-679-w-sprawie-ochrony-osob-fizycznych-w-zwiazku-z-68636690/art-20" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Art. 20 GDPR (Right to data portability)</a>, <a href="https://sip.lex.pl/akty-prawne/dzienniki-UE/rozporzadzenie-2016-679-w-sprawie-ochrony-osob-fizycznych-w-zwiazku-z-68636690/art-17" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Art. 17 GDPR (Right to erasure)</a> and <a href="https://sip.lex.pl/akty-prawne/dzienniki-UE/rozporzadzenie-2016-679-w-sprawie-ochrony-osob-fizycznych-w-zwiazku-z-68636690/art-32" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Art. 32 GDPR (Security of processing)</a>.

When will the finished system be available?

We plan to complete development and launch the option to purchase a subscription by the end of the first half of 2026. The system is in the final build phase and has practically all planned features, which are already available for testing. However, our experience with similar projects shows that after testing we need about 2–3 months of stabilisation. That is when we identify and fix issues that may not appear in a standard test cycle — especially around performance, edge cases and integration. Although an experienced team in finance and software development is working on the system, we also want to: learn more about real user needs and how they work with the system, involve users in prioritising further feature development, carry out final verification of security and resilience. So the subscription launch will be based not only on completed development but also on confirmed stability, quality and security.

Why doesn't the system offer automatic bank statement imports?

We deliberately do not offer bank statement imports. From experience we know that automatic transaction feeds give a lot of data but often little control. Horyzont Finansowy focuses on conscious management: simpler entry of key information, categorisation with context, and integration with goals, projects and assets. This approach usually builds better habits and supports real decisions, not just history.

Is a mobile app (iPhone/Android) planned?

At present we do not plan to develop dedicated mobile apps. The system interface is built following responsive web design (RWD) principles so that it displays correctly on mobile devices as well.

Want to see it in practice?

The best test is a real scenario: monthly spending, a savings goal, a home project or organising investments.
